Polymer stabilisers

Polymer stabilisers are chemical additives which may be added to polymeric materials, such as plastics, to inhibit or retard their degradation while processing & at high temperatures. Hence they are also called Heat Stabilsers. They allow plastic items to be produced faster and with fewer defects, extend their useful lifespan, and facilitate their recycling Metals are a key component to these stabilisers e.g. Lead, Calcium, Zinc, Tin, Barium, etc.
